Our players who are currently in action overseas are nearing the end of their time abroad but lets take a look at how they have been getting on recently.
Club Captain Tom Abell was once again in fine form for Fremantle as he scored 81 not out in his sides total of 160 for 2 declared against Mount Lawley District CC. Tom also took two catches as Mount Lawley were dismissed for 50 in their first innings.
White-ball Captain Jim Allenby is also in impressive form at the moment. He took three for 32 from 20 overs, which included 10 maidens in Claremont-Nenlands Western Australia Cricket Association Fisrt Grade Round 13 match against Willetton.
Adam Hose made 32 and 37 not out in Kensington District’s recent match against Prospect.
George Bartlett scored his second half century for England Under 19s against India Under 19s at Mumbai on Friday but it wasn’t enough to stop the hosts taking a 2-1 lead in the five match one day series. George hit six fours and one six before he was stumped for 55 off 67 balls.
Later in the order Somerset’s Louie Shaw made an unbeaten 10 on his debut.
