Today is Remembrance Day.

Everyone linked to Somerset County Cricket Club would like to take this opportunity to commemorate the contribution of all the military and civilian servicemen and women who have been involved in conflicts both historically and at present.

During World War One the following 13 Somerset cricketers left these shores and sadly never returned.

During World War Two there were six Somerset cricketers who lost their lives.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

In 2014, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War One we created the following video as a tribute to those cricketers who lost their lives in the Great War.
