Somerset County Cricket Club will be returning to Bath next week!

The Somerset Second XI will be playing four days of cricket at Bath Cricket Club from Monday July 25th to Thursday July 28th.  The action will consist of a one-day Trophy match followed by a three-day Championship match.

Fixtures involving Somerset CCC at Bath have been a part of the Club’s history for over 100 years with the first ever Bath Cricket Festival taking place in 1897.

Somerset CEO Guy Lavender is pleased that the Club will have representation in Bath again this year.  “Somerset County Cricket Club has a strong link with Bath and this is something that we are delighted to be able to stage this year,” he said.  “We have had some very memorable matches in Bath over the years and I have no doubt that many of those players featuring in these four days will have a bright future with the Club.”

Entry to both Second XI matches is free of charge.

On the Tuesday evening the Bath Area Committee are also hosting a ‘Somerset Social’, with tickets available for £3 and no advance booking required.
