Somerset County Cricket Club have today signed a partnership deal with Miles Tea & Coffee.
Both organisations have heritage going back over a hundred years and the agreement will see the West Somerset based company become our official Tea Partner.
Following the announcement Somerset CCC Head of Commercial Operations Jez Curwin said: “We are very proud to be working with Miles Tea and Coffee. They are a locally based national firm and this partnership will see them have exclusivity across our tea sector plus activation opportunities during the tea interval of Specsavers County Championship matches. They are a family run business with a passion for quality and service and we are looking forward to a long working relationship.”
John Halls, Operations Director at Miles Tea and Coffee said: “We are delighted to start a partnership with the Somerset Country Cricket Club. We share a similar ethos, bringing the people of Somerset together to enjoy some West Country warmth. We are looking forward to launching the ‘Miles 3:40 tea time’, we love the phrase ‘everything stops for tea’, even cricket!”
Miles Tea and Coffee is a family run business established in 1888. The West Somerset based business creates quality tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Following a recent re-brand Miles are promoting the West Country by partnering with local communities, West Country businesses, and sponsorship.
