Somerset County Sports extend deal

One of Somerset County Cricket Club’s longest standing business relationships is set to continue after it was announced this week that Somerset County Sports will become an official NatWest T20 Blast Partner.

The new three year deal builds on the current relationship between the two organisations which began in 2005 and will see SCS continue to run the Club shop at the Cooper Associates County Ground and sell officially branded Somerset CCC clothing.

Managing Director of Somerset County Sports Richard Brice said: “We are really happy to be continuing our work with the Club.  We have been on site at the Cooper Associates County Ground in a number of locations for over ten years now and long may it continue.”

Somerset County Cricket Club CEO Guy Lavender said: “The Club has enjoyed a long and successful working relationship with Richard Brice and Somerset County Sports and we are delighted that this is set to continue for at least another three years.”

The announcement coincides with Somerset County Sports’ big sale event which takes place this weekend.  The new Tyka Somerset CCC training range in now in store and the event will see 2015 stock reduced by up to 50% whilst there will also be 25% off selected 2016 equipment.  Top bat manufacturers will also be in attendance this weekend.
