Life-long Somerset supporter and Committee member Peter Wanless, who also doubles up as the Chief Executive of the NSPCC, is undertaking a very special challenge at the moment.
2016 is a big year for ChildLine as the service turns 30 and to play his part in the fundraising, Peter is taking on a series of challenges and the latest of these will see him facing up to 30 balls from the Somerset bowling attack in the nets on Monday!
Peter will face one ball for each of up to 30 supporters who are willing to sponsor this challenge. For more information or to sponsor Peter, please click here
What could be better than helping to raise funds for a good cause whilst also helping the Somerset attack get ready for the new season?
ChildLine is there for all children who have nowhere else to turn and is available 24/7 on the phone, online and via instant messaging. It listens to and helps around 300,000 young people every year and relies overwhelmingly on voluntary donations.
