Somerset County Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Arbuthnot Latham & Co. Limited, the private banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group, is to be our official Long Room and 1875 Club partner.

The 1875 Club and the Long Room are Somerset County Cricket Club’s premium Membership facilities.

Situated in the Colin Atkinson Pavilion, the Long Room was opened in 2010 to offer Members a premium category of Membership.  Since its inception this has proved to be extremely popular, with 220 Long Room Members in 2015.

November saw the official opening of the new Somerset Pavilion and situated within this magnificent new building is the 1875 Club.  This outstanding new facility is the pre-eminent category of Membership at the County Ground and is limited to just 100 Members.  There has been a tremendous demand for Membership of the  Club and the 100 exclusive spaces were quickly filled and there is a waiting list now in place.

Arbuthnot has a history of over 180 years successfully serving its clients where it offers tailored private banking, wealth planning and investment management services.

Head of Commercial Operations at Somerset County Cricket Club, Jez Curwin has welcomed today’s announcement. “Arbuthnot Latham has an outstanding reputation within the business community both locally and nationally,” he said.  “As a company they have a strong set of values and their high standards make them a leader in their field.  To be working hand in hand with a company of the stature of Arbuthnot Latham just shows the direction that this Club is going in.”

Chris Reah, Arbuthnot Latham’s Director of Private Banking in the South West added: “Arbuthnot Latham has had a presence in the South West for twenty years and we pride ourselves on our values and our culture, both within the business and with those we partner externally.  We are delighted to partner with the Somerset County Cricket Club and look forward to working closely with them.”
